It has been a long history since sodium alginate is used in starching, finishing and printing, mainly in printing. Sodium alginate has a special property when used as a reactive dye printing agent. During chemical reaction of fiber and reactive dye, the dye is fixed in fiber and printing agent does not attend this reaction. So it has many advantage , like good permeability, uniform color, easy cleaning, not sticking the cylinder and scraper, soft handfeel, good plasticity, clear printing figure, and making paste convenient.
