1) Organoleptic characteristics: yellowish oily liquid, has a strong unique pungent odor of garlic.
2) Soluble it is soluble in most fixed oils and in mineral oil. It may be incompletely soluble in alcohol. It is insoluble in glycerin and in propylene glycol
3) Refractive Index Between1.559 and 1.590 at 20oC
4) Specific Gravity Between 1.040 and 1.110 at 20oC
5) The volatile oil obtained by steam distillation from the crushed bulbs or cloves of the common garlic plant.
