| ENERGY SUPPLIER Fat has been shown to provide many benefits for dairy cows during lactation. The addition of fat not only helps cows to satisfy their energy needs, but also increases milk production, maintains body conditions and improves reproductive performance. COFAT is a white micro granule providing high energy in dairy feed ingredient. Unlike other fat source, this unique product does not interfere with rumen fermentation and is highly digestible in the intestine. COFAT is used as a source of energy in ruminant feed. It is produced by refining and fractionating high quality palm oil. In our efforts to achieve a high C-16 content we made an important innovative step forward. Refined palm oil is split up into its various fatty acids by physical means. Without hardening; and therefore without trans fatty acids, we obtain a palm fatty acid rich in C-16 and blended with our modified lecithin which improve the digestion rate up to 96%.
