HSC-OTT Parsivel2 Disdrometer is an optical remote sensing system that use of modern laser technology. It can measure all types of precipitation, including drizzle, rain, sleet, hail, snow and mixed precipitation. Data acquisition and storage was completed though a fast digital signal processor. The basic parameters for measuring are particle size and speed, which are derived size distribution, precipitation, visibility, rainfall kinetic energy and precipitation types. Weather radar can be calibrated to achieve a complex precipitation analysis process, impact precipitation of analysis monitoring sites, and establish a high flood early warning system.
